Managing Vouchers
Care navigators purchase procedures for patients in the form of vouchers, which patients present at their procedure appointments to show that payment has been made.
Tell patients that they should take a printed or digital copy of their voucher or provide their information and voucher number to the provider staff at their appointment. Once the procedure has been completed, the staff redeems it. This sets in motion the process of invoicing the company to pay for the procedure if it hasn't been prepaid by another payment method.
Viewing and Searching for Vouchers
To view vouchers, log into Care Connect and click the Vouchers tab at the top of the page. You can search for specific vouchers in the search bar.
Note: To verify whether a voucher has been redeemed, search for the patient or voucher and then see the status to the left of the voucher number.

You can filter for voucher status by clicking on the All Vouchers button in the upper right corner and selecting the state you want - Available, Used, or Canceled.

The voucher generally includes the following information (this can vary somewhat depending on the configurations that your company has worked with our account manager to set up:
- The voucher number, used by you and providers to track a voucher.
- Status of the voucher. The voucher above is marked AVAILABLE, which indicates that it has been created, but not yet used.
- Procedure that the voucher is for. Click on the name to learn more details.
- The ordering date and, if applicable, the ordering physician.
- Payment details
- Click Bundle Details to view a popup that describes what the voucher price includes.

Editing Patient Information
The second section on the left on the voucher page includes Patient information. To edit this information, click Edit Patient Info. A popup window displays on which you can make changes.

Scheduling
The third section on the left on a voucher includes the providers' name, address, and phone. If you are scheduling the appointment for the patient, you can use this contact information to schedule.
Voucher History
You can view Voucher History in two ways:
- Download the voucher history by clicking Download voucher history at the top. This will download an Excel file with details of all vouchers associated with the company.

- View a single voucher’s history by clicking View Voucher History at the bottom. The page will expand to show the voucher history.

Requesting a Voucher Change or Canceling a Voucher
Click Request Change or Cancellation. A Change or Cancellation Request popup window will display. Input the needed information.

Select a Reason in the dropdown, and enter a comment explaining more about the change or cancellation.
You also can contact your account manager if you need to change or cancel a voucher. If you do not know your Account Manager, send us a message.

Printing a Voucher
Click Print in the lower right corner to print a PDF statement of a purchased voucher. Below is a sample statement of a purchased voucher.
