Getting Started

User Login

To access the Provider portal, you will receive an email invite from Tendo to sign into Tendo Marketplace. Click the link to sign in to the Providers portal.

You will need to reset your password to one of your choice that has eight or more characters.

You will be logged in to your Provider Portal.

Once you have signed in, go to mdsave.com to log into your account for future sessions.

Logging In Later

If you receive the email invite to sign into Tendo Marketplace but don’t log in before 26 days have elapsed, you will receive an email warning you that your Tendo password will expire. The Tendo password will expire after 30 days if you still don’t log in. You then will need to receive an email with a link to reset your password in order to validate that you still have access to your email. For users with hospital email addresses, this validates that they are still employees of the hospital and need access.

If you haven’t logged in after 120 days of inactivity and:

  • You have an email address that has a verified domain at your hospital, you can reset your password.
  • You have no email with a verified domain at the hospital within 120 days, you’ll be prompted to send a request for re-verification.

SSO

Tendo Marketplace allows Provider users to use Single Sign On (SSO) to log in more easily and quickly than using an email and password. SSO also is more secure.

If your organization uses SSO - e.g. Active Directory, Imprivata, your Electronic Health Record (EHR), or Okta - you can access your Tendo Marketplace portal directly from your SSO tool. If you enter your email and your SSO is enabled, we will prompt you to sign in via SSO instead of with your password.

Users of Tendo Marketplace for Providers

Two different types of provider users are granted roles and permissions in Tendo Marketplace.

Front-end staff - This includes hospital employees who work directly with patients such as an office manager for a physician; scheduling, pre-registration, and registration staff; or lab technicians and other medical staff who need to make sure that a patient is getting a voucher for the procedure they need. Most of this user guide concentrates on instructions and information for these users.

Hospital administrators - These users need to see some information such as reports and financial information that front-end staff don’t need to see. For more information, see For Administrators
